Do you want to get better at taking your blood pressure medicine? This study will test a program aimed at helping motivate people to take their blood pressure medicine. Each day, participants who took their medicine will be eligible to win a prize through a smartphone app that tracks whether they are taking their medicine. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have an active prescription for high blood pressure medication. This study is located in New York, New York.

Are you a professional caregiver for an adult who has serious heart failure? This study is testing whether electronic educational resources, in addition to in-person training , help home aids be more knowledgeable and confident in caring for adults who have serious heart failure. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 75 years old, be employed at Visiting Nurse Service of New York's Partners in Care agency, and care for an adult who has heart failure. Do you have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or have experienced a psychosocial trauma, or want to help research? This study uses positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) to look at the relationship between psychosocial stress and systemic inflammation/atherosclerosis. This study is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and New York, New York.

Are you an adult with atrial fibrillation who recently had a catheter ablation procedure? This study will investigate the effectiveness of an implantable cardiac monitor-guided device to monitor participants for recurrent atrial fibrillation following ablation. This study is located in Rochester, New York.

Are you an adult with sickle cell disease who’s recently had a vaso-occlusive episode? This study investigates better ways for emergency departments (EDs) to manage vaso-occlusive episodes, or pain crises, in people with sickle cell disease. This study is incorporating “Individualized Pain Plans” into patients’ electronic health records to allow for faster and more accurate treatment in the ED. To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 18 and 45 and have sickle cell disease. You must also have had at least one visit to a participating ED in the past 90 days due to pain from a vaso-occlusive episode and at least one visit at the study site sickle cell disease clinic within the past 12 months. Are you an adult with cardiomyopathy who is eligible for a left ventricular assist device (LVAD)? This study is investigating whether a ventricular arrhythmia (VTA) ablation at the same time that an LVAD is implanted lowers the risk of VTA after surgery. Do you or your child have severe asthma that is not easily controlled by inhaled corticosteroids? This study evaluates the use of five different asthma medicines to treat adults and adolescents with severe asthma. To participate in this study, you or your child must be 12 years old or older. Are you an adult who has received urgent care for moderate to serious COPD in the past 4 weeks? This study aims to find out whether a method called Comprehensive Health Informatics Engagement Framework for Pulmonary Rehabilitation can help people who have COPD stick to their treatment plan. Are you a woman 18 years old or older who has been diagnosed with LAM? This study is examining whether long-term treatment with medicine called sirolimus can stop lung damage in women who have LAM. This study takes place at multiple locations in the United States.
