The goal of this clinical trial is to compare different types of blood transfusions for critically injured patients who require large-volume blood transfusions. Participants must be at least 15 years old and need a massive blood transfusion. The study is taking place in locations in Alabama, California, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

This clinical trial will compare home sleep apnea testing with the gold standard in-lab polysomnography in terms of 1) accuracy, 2) therapeutic decision-making, and 3) parent/child acceptability in children referred for evaluation of obstructive sleep apnea.

Have you had a baby within the past month? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical trial where researchers are testing out a home visitation program for women who have recently given birth. Participants in the study will be visited by trained nurses who will help with soothing, feeding, sleep, and physical activity. To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and have reliable access to the internet. Mother and infant must also be enrolled in the Nurse Family Partnership program. This study is taking place in Altoona and Danville, Pennsylvania.

Are you interested in participating in a clinical trial on heart health? In this trial, researchers are testing ways to help lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular disease as people age. To participate, you must be 65 to 80 years old, and you must not have high blood pressure or take medication for high blood pressure. The study is taking place in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The overall goal of the study is to develop a novel weight loss intervention for postpartum people by providing strategies to improve sleep, diet, and physical activity behaviors. In this study, we will recruitment and enroll 40 postpartum people and randomize them to receive the Sleep GOALS intervention or education control to evaluate the intervention's feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy.

This is a pilot study to evaluate the feasibility and safety of providing RH genotype matched D+ Red Blood Cells (RBCs) to chronically transfused patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) who type D+ but have formed anti-D and are currently transfused with D- RBC (Red Blood Cell) units.

This study examines cardiovascular responses to a brief psychological challenge under laboratory conditions among adult volunteers. The study is designed to examine associations between transient changes in cardiovascular activity induced by the psychological task, measures of overall cardiovascular health, and measures of cerebrovascular health measured by magnetic resonance imaging. Study results are expected to provide new information about the relationships between cardiovascular activity changes to psychological challenges and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health in adults.

Do you have mitral valve disease? This clinical trial is testing different types of images taken of the heart to learn more about mitral valve disease and the best ways to treat it. You must be 60 years old to participate. The study is enrolling patients in locations in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Quebec City, Canada.

The investigators' central hypothesis is that early combination therapy with two PAH-specific oral therapies that have been shown to be well tolerated in the pediatric population, sildenafil and bosentan, will result in better World Health Organization (WHO) functional class at 12 months after initiation of PAH treatment than therapy with sildenafil alone.
