Are you a woman 18 years old or older who has been diagnosed with LAM? This study is examining whether long-term treatment with medicine called sirolimus can stop lung damage in women who have LAM. This study takes place at multiple locations in the United States.

Have you had a heart attack, and do you want to help improve strategies for blood transfusion?
The study is comparing two strategies for blood transfusions in heart attack patients who have anemia—whether to give a blood transfusion when the hemoglobin level is less than 10 g/dL, or to give blood only when the blood count is below 8 g/dL. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old, have anemia, and be hospitalized for a heart attack. The study is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Do you or your child have severe asthma that is not easily controlled by inhaled corticosteroids? This study evaluates the use of five different asthma medicines to treat adults and adolescents with severe asthma. To participate in this study, you or your child must be 12 years old or older.
