Does your child have obesity? In this study, children and teens, 7 to 13 years of age with obesity and their parents will learn about nutrition, behavior changes, and exercise through the Bright Bodies lifestyle program. Researchers want to see if this program can help lower weight gain and screen time, improve sleep, eating behaviors, and quality of life, and reduce parental stress. The study is taking place at locations in Alabama, California, and Maine.

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare different types of blood transfusions for critically injured patients who require large-volume blood transfusions. Participants must be at least 15 years old and need a massive blood transfusion. Has your child received a Fontan palliation operation? If so, they may be able to join a clinical trial that is testing whether exercise can help patients who have had this procedure. Your child must be between 8 and 19 years old, had a Fontan palliation, and can exercise. A study team member will observe the participants doing aerobic and resistance exercises live on video. The study is taking place in Palo Alto, California.

This is a pilot study to evaluate the feasibility and safety of providing RH genotype matched D+ Red Blood Cells (RBCs) to chronically transfused patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) who type D+ but have formed anti-D and are currently transfused with D- RBC (Red Blood Cell) units.
